Here's the truth: I would buy this dress in every color - all day, every day.  Not only is it incredibly comfortable, but so versatile.  Dress it down for a casual run around town or dress it up for a night out.  And the real kicker, is that it's crazy reasonable from a price perspective.  I've highlighted it on the site before, but really with temperatures climbing, it's worth a reminder for you kids.  You'll thank me later.

There is something so easy about a boxy sweater and a pair of boyfriend jeans.  The embellishments add an instant pop and make me feel a little more ready for the day.

This week has been a bit of a hectic week, from getting back into the swing of things from SBS Con to contending with sickness in our household, I was stoked to head out to meet Tory Burch at a meet & greet at the Tory Burch store at SouthPark.  During these warm months of summer, I gravitate towards easy pieces that are light with fun patterns.  This dress certainly fits the bill.

Another love of mine recently are these Kendra Scott earrings that I snagged at the SBSCon.  They are such a fun upgrade from normal studs and I adore the mint color.  After seeing Kendra Scott's Fall collection at SBSCon, I can say that you are going to LOVE what they have in store (think lots of tassels, beautiful colors, and fun!).

We've been fans of PostSecret for awhile.  Frank Warren started this community art project in 2004 by distributing post cards and instructing people to share their most intimate secrets in a safe space, completely anonymous, free of judgement or retribution.  The response he has gotten over the past decade has far exceeded anything that any of us would ever believe.  Some of the secrets are mundane by every day standards, but others are beautiful, inspiring, painful, heart-wrenching, and scary.  Some people don't like PostSecret for that latter reasons, but what the play that is now showing in Charlotte (and I had the pleasure of seeing on Sunday) does is reinforce our belief in the greater good.  How these secrets resonate with all of us, even if they have nothing to do with our lives, in small and big ways.  They are beautiful reminders of a common link that all of us have.  And the stories of hope that are a result of these secrets being shared (communities formed as support of those who have lost hope, funds raised for suicide awareness, holidays provided to families going through hard times) are so tremendously uplifting, it's hard to dislike a movement that has brought so much good to those in need.

I love a good print and mixed with Equipment, you can't go wrong.  The strawberries are perfect for the spring and summer and fruit prints are so in right now.  Whites and prints are always a win for me.

The issue with florals is that you run the risk of looking like your grandmother's couch.  The key is finding the right balance of color, pattern, and style of clothing to balance it all out.  The antiqued floral print which JCrew released as part of their Spring Collection, is a great option for those looking to experiment a bit with a floral print.  And even better news, a lot of piece are on sale right now.  I love mixing florals with stripes (and even throwing in a dash of animal print).

C'est la vie tends to be my motto in life so when it appeared in JCrew's Spring collection, I knew that I would have to get this top.  Between the comfort of the tee and these pants, I suspect this will be on repeat in my closet.
