If you are anything like me, you are probably still working on detoxing from all of the holiday fun - turkey, sales, and decorating for Christmas.  And starts the holiday blitz: a full on full-court-press to Christmas filled with more food, sales, and gatherings.  I'm kicking off the holiday season with a trip to Vegas this coming weekend to spend sometime with one of my best girlfriends.  Currently, I am trying to figure out how to stuff this tulle skirt into my carry on because what is more fancy than tulle in Vegas, am I right?

I'm always pleasantly surprised with how often I get to wear this skirt.  Admittedly, I am partial to tulle, but it really is a great option for events and special occasions.

The holidays have come and blissfully gone.  It was honestly a crazy, awesome, super fun two weeks and after lots of visitors (20 total over the past week to be exact), lots of celebrations (6 Christmas celebrations, a birthday, a 34th wedding anniversary, and new years eve), and (unfortunately) a stomach bug later...we are on the other end and ready to take on 2014 (?!). I thought today I'd share a bit of what we've been up to these past few weeks.
