Last year, I totally caved on the camo trend and I still could not be happier with the decision. Paired with this shirt from JCrew and my Loub kicks, it was perfect for a night out with my girls.
There's this little pizza joint in Raleigh that Hubs and I have been going to, well, for what seems like ever, but really it's where we went every month on the anniversary of our monthly wedding date for the first year of our marriage. And every time we went, we ordered the same pizza - the 6th of every month without fail, a Dante's Inferno pizza.
Last week, we did just the same, except with a third in tow. It's so crazy to go back to a place that holds so many memories and is still the same, yet your life is so so different. But we ordered another Dantes Inferno, ranch on the side, and Dr. Pepper - just like we always have.

I dig on a good juxtaposition. Which is likely why I am beyond obsessed with the high-low trend this year.
Funny story about these shoes: my MIL bought them for me last year when I was pregnant (and in denial about my swelling situation). When I took them out to wear them for an event, it looked like a snake was eating my feet. Not pretty. So I reluctantly returned them for fear that I'd never have my small feet again. Lucky for me, my feet returned...and these bad boys went on sale.

Truthfully, I am in love with the Current/Elliott version of these jeans; however, while I can justify about any purchase, I could not bring myself to purchase a pair of jeans for that cost that I would likely wear one season and I couldn't even purchase in my size due to the fact that I just had a child. Enter Target's $22 version. With a little nip and tuck from my seamstress, they were ready to go. (Sidebar: If you haven't already, a good seamstress is worth its weight in gold..seriously, run out right now and find yourself one.)
