I absolutely adore SJP and this video done by Vogue makes her even more endearing, if possible. Some highlights: her response to heels or flats and the incredibly charming brownstone in NYC.
Enjoy!

Friday Eye Candy: Sarah Jessica Parker + Nordstrom
1/10/2014Shoe lovers around the world rejoiced this week with the release of the first images from the highly anticipated Sarah Jessica Parker shoe collection. And the pictures don't disappoint. Here are some things to look forward to with the upcoming debut:
* It's all about the details
From the fabric which the shoe is made from (SJP prefers suede to calf due to the sheen), to the structure (SJP lowered the strap on a T-bar design to lengthen the look of the wearer's leg), to the grosgrain ribbon on each pair (an homage to her youth), you canon expect thoughtful & beautiful design for each pair.
* Shoes start at a good price point
Being a believer in getting what you pay for, I feel like the starting point is a reasonable costs for a well made pair of shoes.
* There's something for everyone
Though SJP & her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw rocked some very high and intricately designed kicks, SJP's line has everything from a classic pump, to ballet flats, to chic lace-up booties, & even more fancy options for a special occasion.
* Expect the unexpected
Word on the street is that SJP & the creative forces behind the brand are mixing colors in new and imaginative ways to bring something truly unique to your closet.
* One-Stop Shopping
You don't have to search high and low for these beauties. They will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom, a company who boasts excellent customer service and tired & true brands.
SJP Shoes will be available at Nordstrom starting 28 February! Will you be in line?

To say that I blew through the city.ballet episodes done by Sarah Jessica Parker in concert with Zero Point Zero Productions, would be an understatement. These episodes so clearly and succinctly give an insiders look into the NYC Ballet Company. It doesn't just sing to my ex-ballerina heart, but I think gives a new perspective on the ballet that hopefully draws interest from others who might not have given it a second look.

It's that time of year when the September Issues make a resounding 'thunk' when they are placed in my mailbox. The sound makes my heart go pitter-patter; there is just so much goodness within those beautiful, glossy pages. To that end, I wanted to provide a round-up of those gorgeous ladies who are gracing the covers this year.

Which is your favorite September issue? Have you made it through your stack yet?
To celebrate the 15th birthday of Fendi's famous baguette, a book dedicated to this iconic purse has been released. As you well know, I'm a huge fan of coffee table books and I can't imagine not including this one in my collection. The book boasts a collection of the designer's top picks from the more than 700 designs produced since 1997, as well as a contribution from SJP herself. Consider me sold.
I've loved Sarah Jessica Parker since her days in 'Footloose', granted they probably her most fashionable days, but none-the-less j'adore. She's come a long way since her days in 'Footloose' and her ability to rock every red carpet she steps on is astounding.

Her spread in the Vogue's Age Issue was phenomenal and I absolutely cannot wait until her movie, 'I Don't Know How She Does It' hits theaters on Friday.
