In keeping with the great tradition of our Football Sundays, yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the NFL Style Lounge at Bank of America Stadium.  Erica Hanks partnered with the NFL to curate a collection which truly elevated your typical football style.  It's definitely an area where I think women truly struggle in how to look put together and chic, but also dress to support their teams.  Erica did a brilliant job styling some really fabulous looks paired with pieces available at the Panthers store (my personal faves: here, here, & here) and locally in Charlotte, including one she whipped up for me (I say 'whipped' because she really made it look that effortless) on the spot.  (The coat might have been ordered before I made it back home to my doorstep).

In celebration of Super Bowl XLVIII and in support of the National Football League Foundation, the CFDA and Bloomingdales will be auctioning of 48 one-of-a-kind specially designed football helmets from some of the most sought after designers.  And what's even better is 100% of the net proceeds benefit the NFL Foundation, which supports educational football programs, health and safety measures in sports, and community health initiatives.  Auctions opens today at 5:00 pm.

More and more designers are expanding their reach into athletic wear and now THE designer in weddings has stepped into the NFL by designing a line of mix and match cheerleading uniforms for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite the fact that I am not an Eagles Fan, I do love the collaboration and hope to see more designers step into the NFL arena.
