If you look in my closet, next to sequins, I have quite a large collection of pieces in jacquard fabrics.  There is something about the fabric that I just love - maybe it is the intricate woven patterns, or the fact that usually they are metallic and shiny, bur whatever the reason, it is an easy go-to for Holiday events.

This dress is a favorite of mine (and is unfortunately no longer available as it is from last season), but I have found some really fantastic alternative (below) for you.

I have to admit, when I first saw these sequin joggers last winter, it was love at first sight - the marrying of comfy pants with just the right amount of pizzaz.  Clearly, I was sold.  And paired with a warm, fuzzy sweater - I mean - what could be more perfect for a holiday brunch, drop by cookie exchange, or heck, if you just want to put a little pep in your step.

It's crazy to think that it's that time of year again - the time when we all start breaking out the festive wear and figuring out what we are wearing to the 90 holiday parties we are invited to.  I'll be sharing several looks over the next few weeks I'll be sharing some of my go-tos for the holiday season starting with feathers.

Feathers can be fancy & I love the contrast against the simplicity of a crisp white button up.  Snazzing it up with baubles and gorgeous kicks are just my cup of tea to top off the look.
