In past years, GapKids has done an amazing job partnering with adult designers to bring fun & unique designs for our micro fashion mavens. This most recent collaboration with Kate and Jack Spade for GapKids Holiday is so near to my heart. Being a long time lover of Kate Spade, I love the the designs are for both genders and mirror many of the adult styles, with a subtle but needed kid twist. Who said having a boy was better on your clothing budget?
When I was blonde and my sister was in town this fall, I drug my family out to what Charlotteans know as the 'disco chicken', an art installation close to the Mint Museum in Uptown, for our family Christmas pictures. I thought that it would include the right amount of sparkle for our holiday cards. Getting a toddler to cooperate when he's hungry and there are fun things like buses and garbage trucks tumbling by, was...in a word, challenging, but my sister did such a great job with them and we ended up having a blast.
