disco chicken

When I was blonde and my sister was in town this fall, I drug my family out to what Charlotteans know as the 'disco chicken', an art installation close to the Mint Museum in Uptown, for our family Christmas pictures.  I thought that it would include the right amount of sparkle for our holiday cards.  Getting a toddler to cooperate when he's hungry and there are fun things like buses and garbage trucks tumbling by, was...in a word, challenging, but my sister did such a great job with them and we ended up having a blast.

Since this post is picture heavy, I decided to spare those who don't want to view the whole thing.  More pics after the jump, along with where you can buy our looks.
