Body of Art
1/29/2013
People tend to be very opinionated about body art. It may (or may not) come as a surprise to you that I have several tattoos. All of which I acquired once I went away to college and none of which I regret. Some I'm more fond of than others, but honestly, they are all very representative of a certain point in my life and there's something about that that I like very much.
I occasionally get the itch to add on, but right now there's nothing that I'm particularly hot and bothered about. And that's my #1 rule with tattoos, you have to be 100% committed. In the meantime, I'll just surf Pinterest for inspiration.

So the question of the day is: do you have any tattoos? If so, of what? Do you want more or want to get your first? Or are you not a fan?

When Louis Vuitton announced a few months ago that Angelina Jolie was going to be the face of their latest ad campaign, I thought they hit the nail on the head. Her effortless grace and style lends itself incredibly well to everything that the brand embodies. The first pictures have recently been released and Annie Leibovitz did not disappoint. I cannot wait to see the others! What do you think; did LV make the right decision with Angelina?

Cannes Film Festival 2011
5/17/2011J'adore France. Say what you want about the people, but the country is absolutely gorgeous and they know how to celebrate! And really, how can you dislike a country where champagne originated?!
One of the many things that I love about France is Cannes. The annual Cannes Film Festival kicked off last week and goes through this coming weekend and already the fashion choices have not disappointed. Here are some of my favorites thus far, and I'm sure there will be more to come.

And the winners are.....
1/17/2011The Golden Globes are arguable one of the better award shows of the Hollywood award season. They are jovial, upbeat, and the fashion is to die for. The Hollywood Foreign Press throws a heck of a party (and based on some of their nominations and choices, one might think that the open bar started months ago).
While the winners are important, let's be honest, I really care about who wore what, who looked fabulous, and who was a total fashion disaster.
