Over the weekend we had an opportunity to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our little twinkles which was no small feat considering that in the middle of last week, there were several hours which we thought that they'd be here at the end of the week. (For the record, we are all fine.)  It was the perfect way to tap off an otherwise stressful week and reinforced all of the amazing love and support we have here in our tribe of people both locally and afar.  These little ladies (and us) are so loved and I am simply blown away and humbled by it all.

With that being said, I'll be sharing a few details from the shower in the upcoming days, but in the meantime, I wanted to get the look out there.  I came across this dress randomly (it's non-maternity) and knew that it was absolutely perfect.  The shower, though, at a french bakery here in Charlotte, was more themed around flowers.  I wanted pretty, ethereal and soft.  Serendipitously, the local Nordstrom was having their spring beauty event and I was able to pop by Laura Mercier for a full face and a local floral shop made the perfect floral crown for me.
