dressing for september9/22/2016
September is always a funny month in North Carolina. The whole nation seems to be obsessed with pumpkin lattes, blanket scarves, cozy knits, and spices, but here in the good 'ol south, the temperature still lingers in the 90s until about October making all of those aforementioned things very difficult for me to wrap my head around. This time of year, I tend to lend toward pieces which are easily layered, but in darker colors. This dress is a great example of just that; I wore it to the Battle at Bristol and layered it with one of my favorite bras to represent my alma mater, but I could easily pair it with a jacket or taller boots as the temperature drops. And the other bonus is that it's 40% off.
