The leading school of thought is that fashion is cyclical. And if the recent emergence of Cluless-esque fashion is any indication of that, I'm inclined to believe it. How many of us lusted after Cher's closet, Dionne's accessories, and Tai's post-makeover look? I have to say that I had my fair share of fuzzy sweaters and plaid skirts in my closet in the years following that movie. Though I'm not quite back on the birkenstock train, I am excited to see this back.

* In case you live under a celebrity gossip rock, Lauren Conrad of The OC/The Hills fame got engaged over the week. In all fairness she's risen far about her meager beginnings of reality TV star, but her rock is pretty gorge. I love the classic nature of it.
* Speaking of LC, can we take a moment to discuss this dress from her Paper Crown line and how perfect it is?! With the right accessories, it would be great for a fun night on the town and even to work.
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Paper Crown line debut at Clothes Hound in Raleigh. You've heard me talk about Clothes Hound before and it was not surprise to me that these fabulous and trendy ladies were the first (and only) store in the triangle to carry this awesome line of clothes.
I've always been a fan of Lauren Conrad's style and after seeing this line in person, it definitely didn't disappoint. Looks like I am already adding things to my post-maternity shopping list.
