Did you know that today is National Sunglasses Day?! I know, I know - it's hard to keep track of all of these days that are dedicated to anything and everything these days.  I can, however, get behind a day that is all about the sunnies.  I've been a long-time collector of sunglasses at all price points and all kinds.  I really don't discriminate nor am I rule-follower when it comes to what to wear based on anything beyond what you love. I can appreciate that this is not an always accepted perspective, nor do I believe that just because I love it doesn't mean that it's the best fit for me.  With that being said and in honor of a day that's all about the sun, I've put together some of my favorites per face shape type.
If you have a heart-shaped face: try out cat-eye glasses or wide-framed glasses


If you have a long-shaped face: try out cat-eye glasses or wide-framed glasses

If you have an oval-shaped face: the sunglass world is your oyster, you can't go wrong with any type.
If you have a square-shaped face: try round, oval, or cat-eye framed glasses

If you have a round-shaped face: try wide or rectangular-framed glasses

My go-tos for sunglass shopping tend to be one of three places: J. Crew, Anthropologie, and Nordstrom.  For good price point and good quality, I go to Kate Spade, J. Crew, Quay, and Marc Jacobs.  For higher end options that are worth the investment, I go to Prada, Tom Ford, Karen Walker, and Gucci.  And my best all-around brand is the ever classic ray-ban because everyone looks good in a pair of aviators.
