Over the weekend, we traversed down North Carolina to Charlotte to start our house hunt/relocation process.  An added bonus of moving to Charlotte is my family happens to live close by, which allowed Scott and I to have an unexpected date night on Saturday night to celebrate his new gig and explore the areas that we are considering for our new home.


Usually date night means heels and sparkle, but given that we were planning do to some walking around, I opted for flats (gasp) and something that would let me survive the humidity which has enveloped the Carolinas.
