Who kept the faith and fought the fight; The glory theirs, the duty ours.

Almost 4 years ago the world lost a very good man.  A man who sacrificed everything to protect our country and the ones whom he loved.  Which makes today of all days especially important for us.  But I suspect that many of you have similar stories of loved ones lost whether in body or mind.  War doesn't discriminate from who and what it robs from us.  It robs all of us differently: for some of us it takes our loved ones, for others our sense of self or security, and for others precious time with their families and friends.  We are so fortunate to live in a country where people so willingly and dutifully protect what is ours without much regard for themselves.  And for those reasons it is our duty all days, but especially today to remember those who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice so that their sacrifice was not and is not in vain.
