A little know fact about me (or rather my family) is that my grandfather grew up on a dairy farm in Southwestern Virginia. This dairy farm is still working and owned by my cousins and their families. I spent most of my Thanksgivings there and it's usually a huge get-together - the product of my grandfather's 4 other siblings and their families. Some of my fondest memories are at the farm and I was so happy that we were able to go and introduce peanut to everyone.

I think it goes without saying that we were very excited to share this experience with peanut. It was his first time seeing cows (something that was completely lost on him). We did get to visit the calf barn, see tons of kitties (something that peanut appreciates) and he got to have a heart-to-heart with a cow named Socrates. And how could you not appreciate that?
