Over the weekend, we took the opportunity to travel up to NYC (toddler-free) to visit with some good friends who are currently living in Chelsea and meet their new baby.  It was such a fantastic weekend, full of laughs, good food, and lots of really ridiculously cute baby cuddles with one of my favorite cities as the backdrop and with some of our favorite people.  We did a TON of walking, a TON of eating, and a healthy amount of shopping. I do love that city - it's energy is contagious and the weather this past weekend made me long for the Fall and a place there of our own.  Now if only my feet would recover.
