Did you watch Fashion Fund this year? I honestly found the process of the CFDA Fashion Fund incredibly intriguing; the insight behind these smaller independent designers and how they create their collection is so cool and fascinating. I couldn't have agreed more with the selection of the winner. In my opinion Public School melds casual chic with just the right amount of unexpected femininity that makes these pieces versatile and easy to go from hanging out with your friends to a night out.

Mark your calendars folks - September 8th is this year's Fashion's Night Out! This event is a global initiative between American Vogue, CFDA, NYC & Company, and the City of New York to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry's economy, and put the fun back into shopping. What is super exciting about this event is not only are the stores in NYC participating but an entire list of stores across the nation was announced on Monday.
