“Fragrance gives authority to your personality because when you leave the room, that’s what stays after.” - DVF
Truth: I am ADD when it comes to fragrances. I am in constant search of the perfect scent. I roam the aisles of Nordstrom and Sephora unable to to find exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately for me and the wonderfully patient beauty counter professionals, I don't know what I'm looking for. To date, I've stuck by my two tried and true fragrances: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy.
In need of a change, I have started the search for the ideal fragrance. Pregnancy is probably not the appropriate time to execute this (your sense of smell is way sensitive and your body's hormones play with the notes of the fragrances differently), but none-the-less here I am. I've narrowed my search down to two: Miss Dior Cherie and Tom Ford's Violet Blonde.

What do you think? Are there any other fragrances I should try-out before I make a purchase?
When I first saw the photo spread with Britney Spears in which she was rockin' a Dolce and Gabbana star-print dress, I was instantly in love. This surprising print has definitely been all over the place in preparation for the Fall Season. I think it's absolutely stunning print that can easily be incorporated into a variety of different outfits for any occasion.

Good news for those of us who might not have Dolce and Gabbana in our budget, Asos has several items this season to help you emulate this look.

2011 MTV Movie Awards
6/07/2011
Truthfully, I outgrew MTV years ago. However, the fact that I did not actually watch the awards show does not make me any less interested in the fashion choices of the attendees. It's a great opportunity for stars to dress a little out of their comfort zone; which can either be good or bad.

From what I heard, I didn't miss much (besides maybe the trailer to the new "Breaking Dawn" movie) as far as content is concerned. I'm happy to just get the recaps online. So what did you think? Who were your favorites and who were walking disasters?
Winter usually reeks havoc on my skin and beauty regime; the cold, dry weather, the lack of sun-needless to say, I'm pretty happy when the temperatures rise and I can transition into a spring beauty routine. Below are some of my favorite picks for the springtime!

BareMinerals Bronzer: I actually wear bronzer year-round, but it's finally safe to break out of bronzer. Bare Minerals makes a great product; it's easy to use, light, and all of their products have SPF (which you should be using year-round, but especially now that the sun is stronger).
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue: This is an old fan favorite for perfumes. I love the smell of this fragrance from D&G; it's light and breezy and light enough to wear to the office if you wanted to.
Clinique SuperDefense Moisturizer: I use this moisturizer year-round because it is light enough, but also rich enough to moisturize my face. Added bonus: SPF 25.
NARS Orgasm Blush: NARS has been getting rave reviews on this blush for years now. It looks great on seriously every skin tone and looks great when paired with bronzer.
Jergens Natural Glow: Jergens Natural Glow will allow you to get a slight tan in a matter of 5 days when applied everyday. It's a much safer way to get a pre-summer glow without subjecting yourself to tanning beds or harsh sun rays. You don't want your skin to age pre-maturely.
Chanel Pearl Drop: I simply adore this color! It's fun, but sophisticated enough to wear to the office. It's a great addition to your spring nail routine!
