I grew up on the water. There is something about the ocean that makes me feel whole again.  Which is why it's interesting that I choose to go to school in the mountains and am now living at least three hours away from any beach (in an area where the closest beaches are not even in the state that I am a resident in).  So when I saw this shirt, I knew I had to have it.  Bonus, it's from a local place here in CLT (for those of you who aren't close by, I've linked another option above).  I also plan to style it with shorts and skirts over the summer months.  Basically everything, get used to it.  

But back to the ocean, we'll be making a pilgrimage there for the long holiday weekend and though I will be there with everyone and their brother, I am looking forward to some salt water and air to help me with some much needed rejuvenation.
