From a beauty perspective, the holiday season is always my favorite because stores put out a ton of limited edition gift packages filled to the brim will all sorts of goodies.  It's a great way to give a higher end beauty product as a gift for a lesser price.  Nordstrom and Sephora always have great options this time of year.  And besides, who doesn't love a good beauty product?!
