October is an important month for a multitude of reasons, but mostly, to me, because it is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  It's a cause that will (or has) likely affected many of us in a variety of different ways.  I cannot stress the importance of educating yourself on the topic and be sure to know your body so that when abnormalities present itself you can identify them early and get it taken care of.  There are many ways for you to contribute to the fight against this disease, but perhaps one of the easiest is to shop.  There are a variety of different companies this month who are donating a portion of the proceeds from various items to the cause.  I've rounded up some of my favorites below, but if there are any more, please feel free to share.
