Despite my love for all things girlie, pink, and glittery, this girl does love a good action movie every now and then. Sure, they may leave me with anxiety-induced stomach ulcers with all of the action sequences, but the man candy in action movies isn't too hard on the eyes.
Over last week, I went to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon with a whole slew of boys. Clearly we went for different reasons (them: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and explosions, me: Patrick Dempsey and Josh Duhamel), but all-in-all, if you take the movie at face-value (an action movie with no deeper meaning) then it's great entertainment. However, if you are going with the expectation of being blow away or getting some deeper meaning out of the movie, it's not for you. What I found most enjoyable: McDreamy playing a bad guy (love love love) and Ken Jeong's portrayal of a conspiracy theorist scientist. Should you go see it? Absolutely! Should you expect anything serious out of it? Enjoy it for what it is.
And ladies, enjoy it because of these gentleman!
