As much as I enjoy shopping, you can not PAY me to get near a mall on Black Friday.  We spent this Black Friday brunching and christmas decoring our way around Charlotte and our house.  It was the perfect day filled with pine-scented trees, peppermint mochas, and comfy clothes.  This leather-pocketed sweater from J Crew still seems to be a front runner in my wardrobe these days.  And I also got to break out my festive tartan flats, mostly because I finally unearthed them from my pile 'o shoe boxes, but also because nothing say Christmas like tartan and bow flats.
