I realize that I spend a decent amount of time relating my clothing options to weather.  I used to be of the mindset that the weather dressed for me, but after one too many times either freezing to death or sweating like a whore in church, I gave up.  The summer this year in Carolina has been, well.....hot is a word, but I don't think that it really does the heat and humidity justice.  There is nothing like a breezy summer dress to combat the heat.  I tend to stick strictly to this dress code from about July on.  I found this Tracy Reese number at Anthropologie and let me tell you, it is gorgeous.  From the pleats to the mesh back - it's a breathable midsummer night's dream.
