Growing up in the South, there are certain fashion 'rules' that are so ingrained that it often takes you getting past yourself to 'break' them.  The thing about fashion these days is that there really are NO rules; you can make your own and adjust as you see it - what fits your personal style, lifestyle, and choices.  Wearing white after Labor Day is one such rule that I am glad has gone by the wayside.
