It's not often that I get starstruck.  There was this one time when I was visiting my sister in LA and Dominic Monaghan, aka Charlie from Lost, had brunch at a table beside ours and proceed to flirt with the two baby girls who were with us. (Bestill my heart).  Well I had another one of those moments last week when I attended the Rebecca Minkoff event at Saks in Raleigh.  But first, what I wore after the jump!

The event itself was an opportunity to meet and hear Rebecca talk about her Spring line, the inspiration for it, and highlight some of her favorite pieces.  Inspired by famed photographer of the 60s and 70s, Slim Aarons, the Spring line is a beautiful assortment of fabrics, laser cuts, and color.  It was great to hear Rebecca's perspective on her favorites, the staples in her line, and even hear that she test drove a pair of sandals herself before she approved them as part of her line.
