Dressing for the snow is tricky for me. There's the fact that the snowfall in North Carolina is usually negative and my wardrobe mostly reflects that fact. There's also this tricky business of layering just the right amount so that I don't end up

And while we are on the topic of must-haves, I thought I'd take a moment to address the jeans. I've always been a big advocate of investing in jeans. However, last years, I decided to take a second look at Gap's Always Skinny Jeans. They have turned out to be a staple in my closet: great quality, hold their structure, super comfortable, and at a fantastic price point. Plus, they fit great under boots, which is always an added bonus in my book.
