So here's the thing, not only do I usually not gravitate towards red in my wardrobe, but I actually historically have not been a fan of it.  It's a tough color for me, for one reason or another (though I'm assured that blondes look great in red), but there was something about this top and these shorts that I signed up for lock, stock, and barrel.  I blame it on the fact that the only thing standing between me and a week long vacation is what will undoubtedly be the longest work week of my life and I needed an outfit to make me feel as if I were already on vacation.  With these earrings: mission accomplished.
