If there are two trends that are quintessentially fall, they are plaid and leather.  For Friendsgiving, I wanted to dress down this leather pencil skirt with a more casual fall piece and I knew that plaid was the way for me to go.  It's also comfortable enough to kick off those heels and lounge around to post-meal as you slip into that turkey coma.
