Finally Nordstrom will be making its debut on the streets of Manhattan (West 57th Street to be exact) in an unprecedented mix-use retail space including residences, hotel space, and a retail space.

The skyscraper with boast 88 stories in a residential condo tower maxing out at 1.550 feet.  For comparison sake, this is taller than the Empire State building and nearly as tall as the upcoming One World Trader Center.

The retailer invested $102.5 million for the site of its future digs.  Unfortunately, Nordstrom devotees will need to wait until 2018 for the store to open its doors, but when it does, you can imagine how amazing it will be. Should we start planning for opening day?!
