day to night
1/08/2013I have to be honest, I've been on the lookout for the perfect burgundy sweater for, like, ever. When I found this hinge sweater, I was a little unsure; however, once I received it in my size, I was sold. The versatility factor is fantastic. Plus it's the sweater equivalent to a mullet: business in the front, party in the back.
day [sweater: hinge via nordstrom/pants: vince camuto/shoes: vince camuto/baubles: JCrew (similar here and here and here), Kate Spade, Blee Inara, Michael Kors/sunnies: Chanel]
night [sweater: hinge via nordstrom/skirt: JCrew (no longer available)/shoes: DV/tights:DKNY/baubles: JCrew (similar here and here and here), Kate Spade, Blee Inara, Michael Kors/sunnies: Chanel]
My definition of taking anything from day to night is simple - just add sequins, kick up your lipstick a knotch, and maybe add on some more baubles. And speaking of baubles, this blee inara love necklace has quickly become a fast favorite of mine. Maybe it's because Valentine's Day is right around the corner, but I suspect it's because we could all use a little reminder to love.
Which reminds me, THANK YOU for your love, supportive comments and votes on yesterday's post. (Don't forget to vote again - you can vote up to once a day!) You guys sure do know how to make a girl's day!

Such a cute sweater Chelsea! And it is so funny that you paired it with black leggings...I was seriously just having a conversation with a girlfriend the other day about how a rich wine color would look soooo good with black leggings for winter!! And here you are and I was right! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week friend!
