Guest Post: Strawberry Swing and Other Things on Baby Showers
2/16/2012To help me ease into motherhood, while still providing fun and fabulous content to you, I thought I'd reach out to some of my fav bloggers to do some guest posts for me. If you've been following this blog for a while E from Strawberry Swing and Other Things should not be a stranger. She did a guest post for me while I was galavanting around the Middle East. Now E is expecting her own little bundle of joy (CONGRATULATIONS!!) and she has visions of nursery decor and baby showers in her head. Enjoy your impeccable taste and attention to detail below.
Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to be guest posting today over at Haute Child in the City, and I'm so excited to meet Chelsea's new bundle of joy!
I thought in theme of 'new arrivals', I would post some of my favorite Baby Shower tablescape ideas. I think instead of focusing on centerpieces on tables, why not give the room it's own! Enjoy!
Cute set up for a Baby Boy's shower
This was originally for a 2 year old's party, but a what a sweet tablescape for a girly and vintage baby shower!
Doesn't this just scream Spring Time??
This is a super adorable idea if you are looking for a gender neutral theme. I love that the lamb painting can be given to the Mom to be to be used in her nursery.
Another cute theme for a boy shower... or use the kites and add pink or lavendar if it's a girl!
Doesn't this just make you smile? So cheerful, what a great neutral theme for a summer shower!
"Shower" Themed Baby Shower... you could use this for a smaller scale "Sprinkle" for second time moms.
Of course this reminds me a bit of Lindsay Lohan and the E-Trade baby fiasco, but what a cute and unique idea. I love the cow print cake layer and pennant flags...
I love this hot air balloon "Up, Up, and Away" theme as much as the kites... so adorable.
"Born to Rock" for the edgier Mom-to-Be...
Buttons and Binkies
Congrats again to Chelsea and her new family!
Thanks so much E! And looking forward to hear all about your journey throughout pregnancy and into motherhood.
