I'm an old school girl at heart; despite the fact that I live by a Google calendar (the modern technology that might have saved my relationship with Hubs), I also keep a paper day planner.  Sure, I might be duplicating efforts, but there's something about writing it down in my planner and color coding it to the appropriate type of event that just gives me a sense of satisfaction.  (Have I mentioned that I am also slightly Type A and anal retentive?)

I know, it's a little early to be thinking about 2012, but designers are coming out with their latest designs for next year.  I'm always on the look out for cute and stylish planners to carry around with me.  This past year, I used a Lilly Pulitzer organizer and I love it.  I think I'll likely go get another one: they are definitely one of the more less expensive option.  However, there are several others that are in the running this year.  Here are some of my picks.
