Guest Post from I Am Style-ish

Meet Tiffany from I am Style-ish.  Tiffany was one of the first fashion blogs I began to follow and actually inspired me to start my own.  Not only does she have killer fashion sense, but she also just started her own jewelry line, T+J Designs.  I find most of my outfit inspirations from her and totally envy her Louboutin collection.  Basically Tiffany rocks!

Congratulations on the launch of T+J Designs! The pieces are really fantastic.  Tell us a little more about the line, what inspired it, and what you are the most excited about with the launch.
My sister and I have always had a love for fashion and have always wanted to start a business together.  We both, along with our very stylish mom, absolutely love jewelry and we always seemed to find both ends of the spectrum of great design but super high prices or fun, trendy jewelry for fantastic prices but really only last a few wears.  We wanted to design great quality jewelry that would last for years but also at affordable price points.  I'm so excited about this new venture just because it's been a long time dream of mine to start my own business.  It's hard work, I work until all hours of the day and think about this business 24/7 but it's so worth it when I see our customers wearing our pieces and letting us know how much they love them!!

Your couture collection is to-die-for! When did you start it and what would your best recommendations be for the best way to start a collection?

I started it a few years ago after I got settled in my career and wanted to reward myself with all the hard work that I put in to get there.  From the first pair of designer shoes it went to another and then another.  I also have my mother to blame though, she's always had a to die for collection and I wanted to have it too! :)  The best way to start is to find which piece you want to start with. Whether it is a purse, shoes, watch, etc... keep that goal in mind and then save!  My best plan was to have my paycheck deposited into two accounts where a small portion went to a special checking account just for my "special purchases".  Promise yourself not to touch that account until you have enough for your goal.  Once you make the splurge, don't let that savings account go back to normal, continue putting in those amounts into your account so that when you find your next piece that you are lusting for, you are prepared!

Your outfits that you feature on your blog are always so unique and fantastic in unexpected ways! Where do you find your inspiration?
I often take note in things that I see in magazines, on the Internet, even in real life.  If I like how someone has paired this pattern with this pattern or certain tones together, or even how the clothes fit on people, I try to work that into my wardrobe.  I also keep an "inspiration book" of photos from magazines and catalogs and when I'm feeling uninspired I pull it out and suddenly I have tons of ideas of what outfits to put together.  My pinterest is the online version of that book!

What is your must-have object in your wardrobe?
Black or nude Louboutin pumps.  I wear those more than any other shoes in my collection.  So versatile and classic and have lasted me for years!

What is your favorite trend this Fall/Winter?
Brightly colored pants.  I've already started a collection of pink, red and blue pants and I want more!  I love bright colors and clothing but usually it's left for tops or accessories so am loving all the fun colored jeans and trousers that are coming out for this season.

What are you currently lusting after?
The Chanel Boy Bag

What are the three things you couldn't live without?
My husband - he is not only the love of my life, he is my support for everything that I do, from my career, to my blog, to my business, I couldn't do everything I do without him.

My doggies - I was never a dog person until my husband convinced me to get a dog.  Now, I don't know how I'd live without them!

My shoe collection - I mean, how I could I not include them? :)
